Dear Alumni and Friends

On behalf of our association, I thank each and every alumni, the Principal, the staff and the academy members for giving their whole hearted support for the alumni meet 2006.

We all had a very good time and undoubtedly this year’s meet is the best of all the alumni meets. We had the opportunity to felicitate the academy members, our former principals and faculty. We also had in our midst four outstanding alumni who added value to our cause. They are Satya V.V.V from Vortex Technologies Ltd, N. Balasubramanyam, IPS, Nannpaneni Mohan from Boston, Balasubramanyam of Star Plus, Hong Kong. On the second day, our alumni L.Raja Gopal , Member of Parliament is with us.

Event wise, we did what an alumni should continue doing, Felicitation of KCP member for supporting the establishment of our college Felicitation of Academy Members Felicitation of Former Principals Felicitation of Former Staff Felicitation of Outstanding alumni Arranging Key Note Speech to inspire our present students Address by our alumni to inspire our present students Encouraging students to give cultural programs Conducting Workshops for future direction

Other best effort by the alumni for the college this year is a film on the college which can be used by our college wherever we need to project our college. But for the efforts of Mr.Vijay Sai, President, Hyderabad Chapter Alumni and Narra Ravi Kumar, Assistant Professor in the College this would not have come out in time. I also thank the Director of the film, Ajitha Suchitra Veera who had the shot the film in the shortest possible time and for accepting a nominal amount for taking the film.

On this occasion three work shops are conducted with active participation of our academy members, alumni members, faculty and students. The topics are

a. Road map for the college to make it as one of the premier in e development of the college.

Findings of the work shops will be hosted on our website very shortly.

I once again thank all the team members headed by Janakiram Prasad - Secretary, L. Ratnakar - Treasurer giving their personal time and other resources for the success of the event.

I also thank our alumni who sponsored many events in the college. They are T. Kishore, Peddi Srinivas, Maganti Srinivas, L. V. Ajit Kumar, K. Murali, L. Ratnakar and many others.

I wish to put on record the best efforts of Prof. G. N. Swamy, Sri. Narra Ravi Kumar, S.V. Satya Prasad, Rajendra Prasad, D. Srinivas, K. Ravishankar, Vijaya Maruthi Babu for all their whole hearted efforts in making the event a success. I also wish to compliment all the Volunteers, NCC cadets, Faculty and Non-teaching staff who showed excellent commitment and co-ordination and discipline.

Special Thanks to Mr. Jagdish of OTS advertising to prepare the logo for the event and to bring out excellent broachure, Mr. Pradeep of OSI Technologies for maintaining our website. Both of them are our alumni members. The alumni is planning to conduct series of activities for the benefit of students like improving communication skills, vocational courses, consultancy services by all the departments, seminars etc.

The alumni wishes to establish some research activities in the field of Disaster Management, Non-conventional energy resources. Scholarships to the deserving students based on their academic performance and economic status is also one of the activity the alumni wishes to start with the support of all the alumni members.

I conclude, with a request to continuously participate in the alumni activities by contributing your time, ideas and other resources by finding sometime for it. Let this website be our dashboard for interaction and to take our college forward. Make it a point to visit it whenever you receive a mail on posting of new content or during your weekends.
